you get both!! 1940s/50s 'American Field' by Hettrick MFG. Co cotton canvas hunting vest with lots of shotgun shell case holding/pockets. it's in a faded light tan color. the flannel is a 1950s/60s one in a gorg red and black plaid in a wool acrylic blend. it is perfectly beat up and has some holes and repairs! I like how the previous owner used some of the interior to repair the sleeve. there are some darning marks and a section of rayon or gab lining. board shirt style with the straight hem!
